I like this strip about every day life. It is the comic strip equivalent of comfort food.

Everyday life in the upper Midwest of the US to be specific….how about more appearances by the rest of the family? I love your Folks and your Aunt and Uncle.

C’mon, name and shame. Lennie Peterson would (and has).

Maybe you could add a talking animal . . . or borrow Jeffy from ‘The Family Circus.’ Naw – just stay the way you are. We LOVE ya!

But then you have to learn how to draw ‘em. It’s easier to keep it tight.

You can’t get a hit every time you step up to the plate and every hit you get can’t be a homer.

Sometimes, Amanda, you lose me. I quietly drop out and return after some time has passed. No yelling, no insults. Because, as I wrote above …

Dear fellow reader: I just read your comment, and it is awkward and obnoxious. I hope you get better. If at all possible, please go get better somewhere else.

This one may be in my top 5 “Amanda the Great”s. It gave me my first morning chuckle.

Awkward and clunky? That pretty much describes me and my life. Maybe that’s why I enjoy this comic so much? Never change, Amanda.

It has cats and a lawyer. It’s the comic mother lode. Bonus, the author is a character so it breaks fictional narrative convention.

Yeah… I too thought that the cats were the supporting characters.

I’m 51 and my life still feels awkward and clunky, so we’re in good hands! :-)

I first read this comic on Sherpa, too. I enjoy your comic and don’t let the naysayers push your buttons!

First, to that reader: IF YOU FIND IT BORING AND CLUNKY JUST STOP READING IT! Sheesh.

Second: one should start as close to the beginning as one can when starting a new comic. That way you get to know the characters and the feel of the strip. Also, if you really like it, you haven’t missed out on any of the good stuff.

Third: anyone who feels a need to tell you they don’t like what you do is a troll, and nobody cares what trolls think. <3
