Joanie was a wise woman. Our favorite icecream has DOUBLE the amount of butterfat of the cheap brands. I can see where Pig is getting something not quite as good as love.

I know it accepts me because it seeks to become part of me.

Wow, this one speaks to me. I got divorced and food became my love. I’m hoping a bit of therapy will stop this routine of feeling bad and shoving my face full of yummy food. First session, Monday.

I may be the odd person out here, but I am not a fan of ice cream. Am I alone here?

I don’t hate it; I’ll eat it under the right circumstances (vanilla ice cream stuffed between two chocolate chip cookies and rolled in chocolate chips, for example) but it’s always been pretty meh for me.

Love is not about worth. If it were then if a more worthy person came along, you would then love them instead. Parents love their children without regard to whether or not another child might be more worthy. When I was asked about why I loved my wife, my response was that “If there was a reason for it, then it would be respect, not love. And though I do respect her and see many admirable traits about her, those are not the reason I love her.”

Ice cream loves me. At least, the fat never leaves my gut.
