I do believe in the 100+ years of this strip that this is the first time we’ve known Joel’s last name. (Yes, I know Joel wasn’t around for much of it.)

Reminds me of a jingle Western Union used in TV commercials circa 1990’s: “Everybody needs some money sometimes…”

wow Scancarilli sure hates vets yet another memorial day ignored by this hack. Gasoline Alley used to care about Vets but I guess they no longer matter like Walt and Skeezix I wish they would get rid of Scan. He no longer cares about the history or vers any more Retire and go away Scan you suck. Lets have nothing but inbreed hic strip with Rufus and Joel
