Sounds reasonable.

Actually, the question of why the night sky isn’t totally illuminated by all the stars of an infinite universe is an old issue in cosmology. I think the Big Bang put that one to bed.

He could’ve told him somebody turned the light switch off and won’t turn it on.

He’s an example of the speed of stupid. People who appear bright until you hear them.

Well son, obviously the answer is simpler. The sun has not come up in that part of space yet.

This is actually no more confused than most layman discussions about dark matter and dark energy. The truth is that both are “fudge factors” in calculations to account for discrepancies between astronomical data and current theory. Some new theories avoid those concepts altogether.

That might not be as far off from Reality as it sounds.

Apparently too many Jedi have gone over to the dark side.
