Recovery is sweet. Fuzzy blanket and lots of cats to cuddle……and Elvis is snuggling up to the Man! Whoo Hoo!

It’s important for cats to get a quiet and cozy evening’s sleep so they’ll be ready for the 2 AM Running of the Cats.

I was going toask where the Boy and Girl were but it is obvious as there is no room on the couch for them anyway.

It’s 4:30am and Loaner Cat is laying next to my left leg here on the couch. She won’t sleep with us though I’ve tried everything including little stairs since she’s only got a two foot jump range. But she follows me around the house until my husband leaves for work at 4:30 and hardly gives me enough time to sit before she’s up here. (I sort of sat on her once because she was in such a hurry) Meanwhile, the dog takes hub’s spot on the bed, all covered up and will now sleep until the sun comes up. I have a weird household…

Reminds me of my old cat Lulu (RIP). I would say to me wife (jokingly): “This cat is SPOILED!” She would say, “She spoils us, too.”

I do miss reading or watching TV at night with a kitty on my lap. My baby girl passed in December and her 13 pound “brother” favors The Man.

Don’t blink your eyes, Man.

Looks like most evenings at our house. We Humans are on the couch with our feet up, Bella the dog is often sprawled between us, and Akiro the cat is on on lap or the other, often kneading and snuggling his fuzzy blanket.

I didn’t get much soreness from the shot, I just felt like sleeping constantly. Which of course was just fine with my big male cat.

That last panel must become a mug or tee shirt.

At least it’s comfy and sweet! When my sister got her second one, her arm was a little sore, but if I just let my cat “Fuw” in her room, she would probably feel better with my cat instead of me xD

It’s almost worth feeling under the weather, seeing such a happy bunch X

I was sick for two days after my second one and my kitties curled up right next to me ♥

No blanket is warmer, fuzzier or snugger than the “cat blanket”, such a comfort!

I’ve enjoyed the arc about “the people” getting vaccinated. Hope it encourages some people who might be on the edge about it. I got both my shots with very few side effects.

My cats are very companionable during the winter. In the springtime, during a full moon, not so much. :)

A beautiful spring Friday here. Got cortisone shots in both knees. Then got viciously trolled for an innocent and polite comment on a YT channel. This has never happened before. Guess this person picked me at random because numerous other people has made the same comment. I found it both ridiculous and amusing. Incidentally, the channel creator was not at all offended by the comment and messages me to that effect. And the day is only half over!

My two boys (twins) share the evening with me on my bed watching TV and eventually getting some treats. They cuddle with me and sleep a few hours until it’s time for the AM running of the cats. I’m so use to it I don’t really hear it anymore. I just find the destruction in the morning and sigh and clean it up with a smile.

Pucky is always on the job to provide the breaking news we all need and want to hear.

OT: Dazdziu update, Day One. I’m adapting to my proper place. The Girl wondered at one point if we have ice cream. She is taking a nap right now and when she wakes up, she will discover that the Instacart Fairy has delivered ice cream. And whipped cream to put on top of it. And cookies. But I am glad she’s taking a nap; she has run me ragged today.

Wish I could join them.

My sis is getting a vaccine tomorrow

I wish it was just a sore arm. My two shots gave me back my COVID symptoms for 12-16 hours.
