" ’The Birds and the Bees’ was a 1964 single release by Jewel Akens that is said to have been written by the twelve-year-old son of Era Records owner Herb Newman; the songwriting credit on the Jewel Akens recording of “The Birds and the Bees” reads Barry Stuart, which is the song’s standard songwriting credit.”https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birds_and_the_Bees_(Jewel_Akens_song
Janis is just teasing. As happy as they are I’m sure they splained this to each other decades ago. But a refresher splaining is always appreciated. ;-)
It looks like she was a little concerned about hair loss into her brush, another joy of aging for both sexes, and he just knew that his love for her, no matter what, was always going to be there. They really are a wonderful couple.

At their age, I’d think they’d both know about even the sacoglossan sea slugs.

My wife and I were married before anyone splained to us.

My husband and I often speculate that the cartoonist has cameras positioned all over our house. I’ve never seen a more realistic view of marriage.

Just another reason why this is my favorite comic strip. JJ, you’re a master at your craft.

’s’plains’ might lead to ‘strains’ and ‘sprains’ if you’re not careful, guys.

Sometimes I fell like a Peeping Tom when I read this strip. At other times, my HOA calls me the same thing.

Sometimes Arlo & Janis are memories of my marriage. And sometimes I secretly wish, “Dang I Wish I Had Done THAT!”

I understand the premise but there’s a better “non gender specific” word for to describe the situation: “Condescension”.

It’s not ‘mansplaining’ if you sing it. It’s romantic.
