Dogs are cuter.

Because Roscoe really MEANS it when he offers love. The slobber proves it.

seriously, Earl? cannot make yourself a meal?

Earl needs to work on his sad puppy dog eyes.

Simple, Earl: You can’t tell time.

Because Roscoe is much cuter Earl.

Roscoe has to do that because it’s the only way he can let you know it’s time to feed him.

Once my aunt’s dog was staring at me, seeming to want something. I thought she wanted on my lap, but every time I reached down to her pick her, she moved away. She occasionally gave a yap or grumble of impatience.

Turned out that SHE realized it was time for her treat, and I didn’t.

Maybe your eyes are on the blink.

Let Roscoe give you a coupla pointers, Earl.

When you get the sad puppy dog eyes, then maybe!

Earl you need to go and feed Muffin with her viscous

“I will tear your throat out” eyes.

So Opal will be jealous of your encroachment into her pet!!

Roscoe is thinking well if I had hands instead of paws I would do it myself .

Because his “puppy eyes” are more genuine?

My dog is at this very moment making sad puppy dog eyes at me and doing the little “You never feed me!” whimper.

Earl needs to paws and think about this one.

Cats also have that built in timer for food.

Pets have inner timers, in humans, the tummy growls…

So she gives him his own bowl of dog kibbles….

I swear, our dog could tell time!

Because Roscoe can’t make himself some food, Dude….

The floppy ears and waggy tail enhance the puppy dog eyes. Work on it Earl.

Uh, that goes for cats, too! If I’m late for their treats, my boy is all over me. Like, saying! How about time! You’re late!!!

My cat does that. But she’s unaware of daylight saving time…so she shows up an hour early.

Of course he can tell time. He’s a watchdog.

Come on Earl, Pearl loves those doggie eyes of yours.

For one thing, it takes about 30 seconds to prepare the dog’s meal. You want to eat People Chow?

I have had several beagles. All would come (I didn’t have them all at the same time, ever, not even close) to me at least 5 minutes before a meal time just in case I was going to forget. With the current one, I had to finally set a reminder with Alexa that announces the evening treat time so I wouldn’t get hassled. I have seen my dog gently nudge the Echo, hoping a little nose push would make it announce treat time! I guess the trick is to vary the meal/treat times, and then they wait until they are fed.

Apparently Opal has her priorities Earl.

My wife is also confused by how everyone in the household but her gets hungry at the same times of the day every day.

It works for Muffin the cat, too. Just not for you, Earl. Opal LIKES the animals.

She’s not under the impression that she can argue effectively with the dog.

Earl, try whining, it worked for me till she passed. Anyway, the most casual observer can see your BMI is a tad morbidly high.
