Love the way kids get place names mixed up. I always thought San Mateo was Sam Matail until I saw it on a sign when I was 18.

Growing up, the family lived down the street from a chiropractor, and his wife and family. His name was Adam Ippi, his wife used to substitute teach in the local grade schools and his son and two daughters went to one of them. so we had Doctor Ippi, Mrs. Ippi Master Ippi and two Miss Ippi’s on our block. Counting to ten for hide and seek was an event full of giggles.

Okay, I need help identifying characters again (sorry, I’m still pretty new to the strip!): Jasmine is whose kid? (I imagine it’s Clarence and Charlene, but I’m not sure.)

I didn’t know we have a state named Jasmine, let alone that it has a city named Biloxi.

Biloxie is the name of an Amerindian tribe too.
