Greg and Karen Evans over at Luann have been using a lot of “big” words in thier comic strip lately. :)
For some, there is an undercurrent to Gain

I can’t use liquid Tide*. Found out I’m allergic.
R.I.P. Tide, Wiley you forgot the .’s again.
Don’t get yourself trapped in a Borax. Drag yourself out with a 20 Mule Team.
That is the name of Percy Jackson’s sword.

Riptide? I thought that meant the waves died down.
Don’t detergent and bleach have different purposes?
Dictionary.com: riptide/ (ˈrɪpˌtaɪd) /noun
Also called: rip, tide-rip a stretch of turbulent water in the sea, caused by the meeting of currents or abrupt changes in depth
Also called: rip current a strong current, esp one flowing outwards from the shore, causing disturbance on the surface
thought they would have switched to ALL, Wisk, or another brand than Clorox. Must have white clothes, I guess, since it is after Memorial Day
Tide is a detergent; clorox is a bleach. Not quite the same sort of cleaners.
I think Wiley needs a cross reference.
Who knew you have to pay for it? Even if it does say that it’s free & clear.
I am a LSU fan. We don’t allow Tide in out house. (For those living outside of the Southeastern Conference, the Alabama sports program is known as the Crimson Tide.)
Why do Canadians wash there cloths in Tide?
Because it’s too cold out tide.
Rinso. Fab. Lux. White King. And Sun Brite scouring powder.
Well – Tide is a bit pricier than the other brands – except Persil
