As a bookend I would have preferred the two elephants.

Martyr’s Mirror? That’s the biggest book I’ve ever seen. :P

I would recommend The complete works of William Shakespeare or The Complete works of John Milton. You can show off your intellect and impress acquaintances without ever having to read either book.

I think “29,315,004 Ways to Get Rid of Annoying Customers” will do.

I recommend Dr. Seuss. They may actually get some use.

More than just to fill a space, they may actually have a place

When you have them on the shelf, you may read them to yourself.

So buy them and you will see – you will like them – I guarantee.

    Google “books by the foot”.

You can order color coordinated, by size, age, topic, or other criteria. Leather bound in good condition are the most expensive.

I’ve always admired those fantastic libraries in aristocratic homes from the 17th century… then I found out a lot of them were filled just this way… usually with books to impress guests

Unabridged Oxford English Dictionary – large print edition – for starters.
