I gave up pee-wee soccer because the ball hit me in the gut while I was at the bench. No recollection if it was during practice or a game.

Game winning goal! Go Petey!

Petey with a header for a goal would be glorious. Even for an assist would be amazing.

Remember when the PE teacher would call, “Think fast!” and throw a ball at you? The ball would knock me over.

I never encountered soccer until high school. Once they were out of finding other sports I couldn’t play, the teachers pulled out the ole soccer ball. At least I got my exercise running away from it in terror it would hit my head.
