I’m shocked,SHOCKED I tell you! I didn’t know that Neathery would give us THE BIRD! ;D

Wally’s been nothing but a punchable a-hole this whole part of the arc.

Is HE aware of what he’s turned into? Has he looked in a mirror?

Is he aware that Wally and the gang rescued him from becoming possessed and then dying in a gruesome way?

Am I the only one who can’t wait to see him with his tail spread?

Now he has twice the annoying.

I hope he gets named Damson. … as in “Damn son, you’re a bird!”

He’s just got his tailfeathers in a twist… because he’s still wearing the suit and they’re probably trapped awkwardly inside it.

Hahaha! Has anyone else heard male peacocks sound off? Hoo-wah! Hoo-wah! Hoo-wah! Only now every time I hear one, it will be saying: Are-you?! Are-you?! Are-you?!

Yes, indeed… He needs to give his tail feathers some much-needed room to breathe.

I was struck by the fact that is the least anthropomorphic anthro I’ve seen. Like, he (or she) looks the least like a human being in a fur suit that I’ve seen so far.

I have to admit I was hoping for fur but the feathers are gorgeous. I just wonder how he can talk without lips!

His brain is the size of one of his own eyeballs, so I don’t think that happy is going to happen for Mr Peacock.

I don’t know how happy I am about this…but I did laugh when I saw the first panel.

If the “animal” version is somehow related to personality, what does turning into a peacock say about our erstwhile topsider?

Looks like the peahen is really pissed! I’d stay out of her way, Wally, if I were you.

For someone so proud of his race, a peacock seems like a natural fit.

Despite it all, he did wind up looking the most regal of the group…..

The reveal! Terrence is now a beautiful peacock. Awesome! Though in Panel Three he seems to have a bird’s attention span since he doesn’t bother to wait for Wally’s reply.

I have never known Aaron to change genders, so if Terrence was male as a topsider, he would still be male after his transition to a ’toon. A peacock is perfect. :o) I am looking forward to seeing him in his full glory.

Of course, cats and birds are not well known for being besties, are they?

The last panel reminded me or the exercices we used to do in elementary school in comunist Czechoslovskia. We went for a walk alongside the river – 30 small children and on a signal we had to put on the atomic attac gear complete with green rubber mask, trunk and a plastic coat. What a sight! And the mask made exactly the sound Mr Neathery captured: FLOD! I can hear it as if it was today.

Wild, I forgot this guy looked so realistic upon his introduction. Now, I wonder if this is just Neathery getting used to drawing him, or if he underwent a physical shift into a more cardoodle-esque form over time?
