Opal always seems to have a special way of getting to Roscoe’s conscience.

There was a Peanuts strip where Snoopy went berserk after Sally told Charlie Brown to wash his hands after touching the dog.

I had two outside cats that I used to pet and rub their bellies. I would use hand sanitizer even then. I had some on hand when Covid came around. Using it was not a big issue.

Poor Roscoe, just when things were going great, Opal had to come in and ruin it!

Dogs are cleaner than people.

I’m sure Opal’s belly is just as disgusting.

When I was in high school, I had lunch at a friend’s house one time. Her mother was like that. She absolutely freaked out when I sat down at the lunch table after petting her toy poodle.

This is why I perfected belly rubbing with my feet.(It’s fine with the dogs too).
