Yea Earl that’s probably a good idea. Of course you could just makeup a whole bunch of stuff in a book. Might get away with it.

Arguing with Opal over many years could be considered an adventure!

I keep meaning to go out and have some travels and adventures too.

So would I.

You could write about how you traveled out of bed, to the bathroom, and into the chair that you’re sitting in.

You could write a sequel about going outside, taking a walk to the park, and sitting on a park bench.

Earl it would be like those books by people in the middle ages that were purported to be real, but were only fantasies. Like searching for Prester John and the like.

Oh my, are we going to see Opal and Earl take a trip?

Where is Roscoe and Charlie ?

I’m not must of a writer, but I have had some adventures and did some traveling.

First, start small…like travel around the house, then the neighborhood…

Go for it. When my parents retired, they set off on adventures around the world, reaching every continent including Antarctica. My siblings and I often had no idea what country they were in. They did that for nearly 20 years till Mom got too sick.

Nah, ya don’t need to travel, Earl. Make it up—it’s called fiction.

If we could remember them, our childhood fantasies would make for interesting reading, if we could remember them. Er. . .um. . .uh. . . did I already say that?

He could start when he, Opal and Nelson went to the Grand Canyon and he took her photo of when she said she was speechless.

Earl, remember that time your uncle left you an old ring and you and a bunch of buddies decide to go on a road trip to take it back to the manufacturer and you had to keep fending off a strange little man who used to own the ring and wanted it back and fighting off OTHER groups who ALSO wanted the ring even thought it was just a plain old ring with some chicken-scratch writing on it?

Nah, who would want to read something like that? Never mind.

It’s called “living a life well wasted”.

I’ve lived in Japan, New York, Seattle, and Wyoming and traveled to Europe, Canada, and many other parts of the U.S. They were all rather disappointing. There’s no place I’d rather live than here in California.

Maybe Earl could draw a series of comics based off of his home life.

Well Earl you should have thought of that a long time ago. You can never start that bucket list too soon.

Bone Soup Cook TV show, maybe Hawaiian native recipes are still available.

That is what author’s do the adventure, Earl you do not leave the house much.

I think by the time we’re 50+ we’ve done enough to write a small book. A little tweaking,here name changes there. Heck string together stuff from the comments sections. Not saying you’ll even get paid for it, but you can do it.

There’s always a catch.

…and take copious notes.

I traveled to the market a few days ago, and it was an adventure finding what I needed… Then I took a nap.
