Painting with an audience is always tough. It’s worse when ‘the audience’ can have your head taken off if you make his complexion wrong.

    https://www.gocomics.com/help/comment_policy

(hadn’t seen that before last Saturday; changed my mind a bit regarding what I said in my 6/18 reply), says comments that include a

    (6) link off-site

are no longer allowed (please don’t confuse that with a hyperlink – a URL is most definitely a link in this context), and that has caused me to change a few things. Though technically still in violation, I hope pointing to Wikimedia Commons is OK.

Albrecht Dürer is visited by Emperor Maximilian at work

    https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wilhelm_Koller_Albrecht_D%C3%BCrer_wird_von_Kaiser_Maximilian_bei_der_Arbeit_besucht.jpg

(best viewed by Google Chrome, which can automatically translate most webpages as necessary) has info and links that point to more info about this painting.

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (⌘- or Ctrl-) clicking the image at

    https://thatispriceless.blogspot.com/2021/06/masterpiece-2731.html

I have added a comment there pointing to the artist info I used to point to here. So far, 2 works by this artist have been used here.

    https://www.gocomics.com/that-is-priceless/2021/06/11?comments=visible

has the prior (my comment there pointed to the same artist info URLs as does the one now at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry).
