I’m curious, exactly what are, “our plans” that she’s worried Tarzan might interfere with?

Plans? Meddling? I thought Merala’s ‘plan’ was to jump Tarzan’s bones, by any means necessary. I’m so confused!

Surely that’s not hair growing under Merala’s arm in panel 1? Has she caught M’lunga’s ever creeping hair disease along with the terrible stentch that accompanies it? So this never-ending chase is on, in the pits—out of the pits…..Mr. Gent must be in pit heaven!
