The city just keeps growing bigger all the time if they have the elephant stables within the city walls. Safer, and more hygienic, if they’re outside the walls.

Blame the wall builders, no footings just vertical posts resting on the soil. A goat probably could’ve knocked it down like bowling pins.

The stop at the blue tent for concussion protocol cost them valuable time.

And of course the guards did not hear all of that allowing them to get near and climb the city wall.

Hopefully Tantor will avoids falling into one of Tarzan’s pits.

We had a cow who only stayed in her fence because she wanted to. Sometimes she would step out, chasing a particularly inviting snack, look around, realize she was outside the fence, hurry back in hoping it was before anyone noticed.

Comparing the size of Malluk with O’Rorke and Lukah, by the time he reaches the city walls he’ll be able to step over them.

Perhaps Black Malluck has a very hot date with Merula, but can she “handle” all of him?

Alas, the ensuing concussion resulted in Black Malluk carrying the fugitives straight to the city guard.
