“The man moved without hesitation toward the bed he knew to be Tarzan’s.”
In Dog’s name, HOW? Had he visited earlier and asked, “Which bed will Tarzan be sleeping in?” Was there a diagram posted outside the open window? Telepathy? Did the writer not know the meaning of “knew”?
Volthar seems to be always in the wrong place at the wrong time. But not to worry, I’m sure Tarzan’s keen jungle senses of hearing and smell have already heard and smelled the odiferous approach of this hapless villain.
One of these crazy ol’ nights Tarzan’s would-be assassins are going to finally come up with the proper solution to the Tarzan problem: “Frag out!” But tonight is not that night.
The assassin should have brought a picture with him. The victim can be clearly seen in the moonlight. And doesn’t anyone have glass in their windows to keep out the bugs….and the assassins?
Then a strong hand grasped this assassin by the throat squezzing nthe life out of him before he could sink the blade into Volthar. Chaulk-up another victim of Tarzanacus—killer of men and beasts both great and small! Now bring on the big guy!!

It’s a good thing this isn’t a Sunday strip. Then they would have to drag out the slooowllly plunging knife for several more panels.
