In Dog’s name, HOW? Had he visited earlier and asked, “Which bed will Tarzan be sleeping in?” Was there a diagram posted outside the open window? Telepathy? Did the writer not know the meaning of “knew”?

Next two days: slowly, slowly, slowly, the, the knife, plunged, plunged, towards, towards the unsuspecting victim.

Volthar seems to be always in the wrong place at the wrong time. But not to worry, I’m sure Tarzan’s keen jungle senses of hearing and smell have already heard and smelled the odiferous approach of this hapless villain.

It’s a good thing this isn’t a Sunday strip. Then they would have to drag out the slooowllly plunging knife for several more panels.

Then a strong hand grasped this assassin by the throat squezzing nthe life out of him before he could sink the blade into Volthar. Chaulk-up another victim of Tarzanacus—killer of men and beasts both great and small! Now bring on the big guy!!
