Pop-up trivia question … What actor from the “Golden Age of Hollywood” was Jeff named for? Hint: He starred as Ann Sothern’s husband in “A Letter to Three Wives”. Answer at end of my comments. Does anyone remember Jeff’s 2007 series “Raines”? He played Michael Raines, a brilliant police detective who was able to solve murders by talking with the victims. I really liked that show, and was disappointed that it was pulled out after just seven episodes. I guess not everyone was as fond of the show as I was. So many of my favorite shows didn’t last nearly long enough. Remember “Memphis Beat” starring Jason Lee and D.J. Qualls? How about “The Book of Daniel”? Great cast, but various religious groups forced it off the air after only 5 episodes. Aidan Quinn was an Episcopalian priest. Ellen Burstyn was his bishop.
