I once read that in baseball play is both initiated and terminated by de fence. Now I believe it.
So they left him? The cemeteries are full? The crematorium is broken?? Soylent Green not yet a thing???
Google ‘Turner Ward running into the fence’ some time. One of the few Pittsburgh highlights in the last 30 years.
Sometimes you get to the point where you just hit the wall.
That would be Charlie Brown if he were an outfielder.
He’s just talking a long nap. He was so tired, he “hit the wall.”
Bug on a windshield.
Leaving him I understand, but they left the ball too. It would still be in play if it were a fly ball.
In my experience, you don’t stick to chain link fence.
