So far I haven’t seen anyone point out that maps of the least vaccinated parts of the U.S. tend also to correspond to the least educated parts of the U.S.

I had already had COVID when I got vaccinated. I felt tired and had no appetite for about a day. The injection site was a little sore for a couple days more. Compared to what a “mild” case of COVID did to me that was nothing. And it provides excellent protection against everything from strokes to lung scarring to loss of smell and taste, dizziness, trouble breathing, diabetes, brain and nerve damage, and all the rest of the long-haul symptoms. Please, please spare yourself that and get vaccinated

Got the Pfizer vaccine (last February) and there was no hurt involved. I was a little logy the next day, but needed the nap anyway and was fine otherwise. Let’s not fee the anti vaccine arguments with false narratives.

I’ve had both of my doses, and the major side effect seems to be that I won’t be able to go to the United States for the near future. According to Health Canada it is perfectly acceptable to mix and match vaccines. My first dose was Pfizer, and my second dose was Moderna. Canada and the province of Saskatchewan say that I am fully vaccinated. The Government of the United States will refuse me entry because they don’t permit dose mixing.

Funny that the politicians in charge today are encouraging us to get the vaccine…..But when the other party was in office the same people voiced skepticism.

My second Pfizer dose (early April) reactivated my shingles from 50 years ago. Fortunately it was a mild case, but the areas affected are still red.

Here I can talk of getting the vaccine, letting the cat out Sunday, been a hard secret as sibling refused listened too many naysayers. I had to wait the full 120 days after having that virus past February that was miserable, full fatigue other symptoms not wanting to eat either, one way okay as I wanted to reduce my weight. 1st shot just a little redness, 2nd shot little fever, not the fatigue associated with the virus.

What kind of pipe fill makes invisible smoke ?  I’m a little surprised and a mite shocked that PT did not come on to tell Joel to light the bloody thing. Looks like he is quitting puffing and is keeping the bowl for comfort. Professor types need to keep their hands occupied when not gesticulating wildly while explaining a concept that us mere mortals who are not blessed with a keen outer worldly intellect would not otherwise comprehend and may still not when Joel gets done outlining such, in the (technical) jargon he uses.

Moderna vaccine for me, both done since April. First dose no side effects, second dose Went to bed at normal time and slept soundly for 12 hours. Could use that side effect more often.

Watching Gasoline Alley (and Joel in particular) attempt to be topical is like watching a dog attempt to use a urinal. While yes it’s technically possible, it’s just plain unnatural. If Jim Scancarelli wants to tie this strip into the real world he first needs to address the 121-year-old elephant in the room.

That last comment may well be one of the most astute things that ol’ Jor-El has ever said.
