At his age, Grandpa is still alive? Then I suspect he didn’t take his own advice.

Oliver Wendell Joneses Banana Jr 6000 computer tried almost the same line on Aug.12 Bloom County, it didn’t work for him either. And boy did I get it for my (insensitive) comment. Grandpa must read Bloom County also.

It got the same results as his other lines.

Grand Pa’s give the best advice when they are around to enjoy the results. Usually, laughing.

I find it rather sexist that all these women can beat the crap out of him and it’s supposed to be funny. If a woman came up to him and he beat her the same way, he would be jailed for a long time and most people would agree he should be. And no, I am not an incel. Or even male. Can’t they just turn their backs to him, say no, or something less violent than knocking him right off his barstool?

Grandma slapped Grandpa silly when he used that line on a woman at the bar.

Eno’s grandpa died a virgin. The family doesn’t like to talk about it.

Gratuitous violence is offensive and is not funny or entertaining! I was consternated why the writers could not think of a more creative, less dangerous (even funny) response to an unwanted advance. I was disappointed that the Oregonian would assist in normalizing and promoting interpersonal violence. Mary
