The gloves were easier to draw than hands, yet they still couldn’t manage to draw five fingers. Or pants for Donald and Porky.

Whether it’s gloves, or even mittens, they’re just a good thing to have on-hand.

Strollers have gone through many iterations, along with styles of dress for the children and parents. Saw a stream-lined stripped down version carrying two small children, who watched the world pass while their very athletic mom provided the motive power. She pointed out the sights as she jogged, unlike so many who waste their valuable bonding times talking on cells.

Why would gloves be easier to draw than fingers? They are the same basic shape. Wonder if instead, they did it as added decoration or to color coordinate.

How is it everyone seems to accept that fiddler crabs aren’t actually playing music?

Thanks for the memories. I saw the carriage and pulled out an old photo album of my Grandmother’s family. And, yes, there is a photo of her in her goat pulled carriage. Also one with her Pitbull nanny. She was born in 1899.

Those kids and their fancy strollers. They’ll never get any exercise now. Lazy twits.

The cartoon one made me think of something that bothered me about some of the early cartoons. When the characters are just standing, they aren’t just standing, they’re bobbing up and down, as though in time with music or something. So, I just looked it up and apparently it’s mainly to keep things “animated”, so the audience is always getting something “moving”…

Have you ever noticed that cartoon or comic book characters have 4 fingers only, and no thumbs?

Here’s another I choose NOT to believe, as gloves and hands are exactly the same shape.

Not just Disney; look at Bugs Bunny. And yet cartoon animals are also more likely than humans to go unshod.
