Not consciously. The question just jogged his memory.

Just as I predicted: Phoebe calls her Dad by his first name.

1. So anyone thinking that Phoebe’s trip into time was always part of Ethan’s childhood (Gargoyles or even the first Bill and Ted film*) or that Phoebe did change the past a tad? I’m going with the former until we get a time travel story which does implement changed history.

Heck some material like Star Trek TNG did both.

2. Oh yeah, and Ethan calling his daughter a weird little girl. Cute.

*And yeah one thing to note is that Rufus never told Bill and Ted his name. They learned it from the future thems, who learned it from their future thems and so on.:-D

What a sweet ending to this story.

And now you have to go back in time before your time travel to see if your Dad already remembered it… These time travels should came with their compulsory aspirin doses.

I would have given anything to have had a dad like Phoebe’s. He’s wonderful.

She missed the perfect opportunity to freak him out; the Twilight message. “Remember, the most important thing… (poof)”

Ethan is great, and it is a totally sweet story line, but I’m just a little confused about why he is proud of her? Marigold made the time travel happen. Phoebe went along for the ride with a trusted friend. Nothing scary or complicated happened. Or did I miss a critical episode?

Ethan’s only regret was that he had to wait years before he could talk to Phoebe about time travelling again </3

I ‘spose this does explain why he was so non-plussed when a unicorn showed up in his life.

I miss my dad he was incredible !

Way to go Dad……

Imagine how he felt when she was born and he realized that someday his daughter would make friends with a unicorn and then travel back in time. No wonder he’s proud of her and accepting of everything she says and does.

Paradox solved. Maybe. I dunno. Don’t think too hard on it.

I recommend The Time Traveler’s Wife, a 2009 movie now streaming on Netflix.
