Well, Mysta had to get the bad news sooner or later. There’s our confirmation that she does need sunlight to heal.

“Hey you monkeys! I was still working on that strip!”

When they get to the island, Archival will put them in the cellar and still no sunshine for Mysta. Will Vera be Mysta’s sunshine? :)

Would a sun lamp suffice?

That’s too bad. They don’t like getting appeals from other users. I’m not sure that will do any good.

I came back to a reply this evening that assured me that the “spirit” of old #6 is still with us, so no urgency to do such a thing at present.

Getting back zapped by the ring hurt but this is beyond the pale. That poor girl is on the edge of a breakdown. Easy with the papers, guys, or you’ll answer to his unholy highness.

The clock is ticking. Will Tracy get to Archival’s mansion before they leave? I bet he won’t. It would be too easy. He should’ve visited today, instead of waiting till tomorrow.

Today’s strip comes directly after the July 22 strip, where Archival told Alldid his plans. Today’s strip could be happening the very next day, in story time.

Apparently he’s moving Lock, Stock, and hostages. It takes time to pack up a huge house

hope Tracy finds them quickly before they leave.

That costume has to be getting itchy and dirty by now.

How inefficient. I thought they’d be gone by now.

Seriously, I was hoping that when Tracy showed up on his doorstep, there’d be no one home. Too little, too late.

Too much talking head time when some action was needed.

I have a feeling VA is in on all this.

We all wondered when Vera would start to fight back. In panel 2, he flexing his muscles and balling his fist, ready to punch his way out. In panel 3, the thug with the 5 o’clock shadow is giving him the side eye. He is sooooo scared.

There might be plenty of sun at Archival’s island. But the question is, how much sun is Archival going to allow Mysta to have? Has anybody measured how much sun Mysta needs to fully recharge?

Archival’s private island— Otherwise known as ’Brock’s Rock’.

Shouldn’t Mysta’s horns be sagging like a weed in the garden that needs rain?

So when Tracy gets to Archival’s mansion, he and they will be on his private island!

1-HORNY: Sooo, we’re getting outta here???

VERA: YEP! Gimme five, no jive. Vera to the rescue!

2-HORNY: FINALLY! I thought we’d die here.

VERA: Well, lemme tell you the rest of the story… Vera clutches the pearls at the thought

3-VERA: We’re being taken to Stan Lee’s private island…

HORNY: THAT’S GREAT! The sun will restore my powers!

VERA: It’s Kaffeeklubben Island – uninhabited due to its forbidding landscape and ultra cold temperatures.

HORNY: So, no bikini?

VERA: Only if you want to freeze off your Grand Tetons…and they are grand – YOW-ZA!

Ummmm…..so I’m gonna take a wild guess here and say that the ring’s effects are permanent? Obviously it’s been WEEKS since they were kidnapped, and Frankenmindy attempted to zap archival within at LEAST the third day of captivity…and yet she’s STILL not “better”?

I get that she’s been locked away in the dark, but C’MON MAN!! it cant be COMPLETELY DARK in archival’s place 24/7… and I’m pretty sure that all of that “resting” regardless of being in the sun or not, MUST have “charged Frankenmindy’s batteries” so to speak…zap the stupid guards who are confiscating vera’s drawing board

..the “gorilla-faced” goons are setting things up in The Ministry Of Love right now, it would appear………

The way this arc is going, I expect they’ll be traveling to Gilligan’s Island.

Well,it looks this is going to be a close call.As somebody else mentioned,it’ll take time to pack up a zillion room mansion.Don’t forget the DAN DUNN originals.They’re worth $1.89 on theopen market.

Mr.Bribery watched The Three Stooges in “HULA LA LA”(1951) too much when he was a kid.

I thought Archival would be gone by the time Tracy arrived at the estate, & the story would become something along the lines of an international manhunt, lasting through the summer. Now it looks like this whole thing could be wrapped up by the weekend. Then again, maybe Archival will kidnap Tracy too.

Those guards aren’t wearing ‘magic’ rings, zap them and take their guns, or whatever.

You see, this is why I point out glaring mistakes, no one else will! And I waited almost a whole day!

In panel 2 Allcad is on Mad Mindy’s left. In panel 3 he’s either in front of her or on her right but he’s definitely not on her left anymore.

No consideration for the Live Collection by those eager movers! Snatched the drawing table right out from under Vile’s nose! Meanwhile, Mysta clarifies for her fellow-prisoner (and for us) that she needs sunlight to recuperate/regenerate, and has been deprived of it. Apparently Alldone imagines that they will be given the run of the remote tropical private island; but in fact they might be tossed into a bleak dungeon there, too.
