Maybe if one of you (but not both) would hang up and wait for the other to call….

They kept getting a buzzy signal

They’re both busy in their own way.

“Well, nice talking. I’ve got to go, you know.”

“Yeah, me too. I’ve got things to do myself.”

Both have landlines ….

Getting their wires crossed….

Bee – ver….

Irreconcilable similarities.

Bizzy, bizzy, bizzy

later, the bee can give him a buzz…

Busy-ness?

“Wow, that’s a nice beaver”“Thanks, I just had it stuffed”:-D

I worked with a business teacher who had a license plate: BEEZEE

One has stick-to-it-ness, the other has a buzz.

Busy as a bee…..busy as a beaver

Scott whatever it is you have for dinner - keep ingesting it -- always have clever ideas

I wonder how many people won’t get the busy signal part.

If they had a party line no busy signal just busy bodies.

Why, in this anthropomorphic universe, doesn’t the bee have an appropriately sized phone? Flying back and forth from mouthpiece to earpiece must be exhausting!
