That kinda reminds me of on the “Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie” outtakes, where in the scene where Jonah goes down into the ship’s hold to rest, then the tape tells him a knock knock joke with the set-up as “Big goofy asparagus in a turban”.
I think most knock knock jokes are anti-climactic, unless you are 4 and have just discovered the genre. Or unless you are telling them to someone who has the sense of humor of a 4 year old and you can run them in rapid fire succession. Especially if you can link them together somehow. I’ve seen some comedians pull that off to great effect.

“Orange you glad the joke is finally done?”
“Not especially. It was pretty short.”

Reminds me of another pair of (corny) jokes. You’ve been warned.
How do you catch a distinct cat?
Unique up on it.
How do you catch someone’s pet cat?
Tame way—unique up on it.
[Ducking now … ha.]

Respectfully, Phoebe, that was a horrible joke. I’ve got one for you:
“Knock, knock!” “No solicitation allowed.”
