Questions have arisen about the difference in beliefs of the various Faith communities represented here on gocomics. Here is an accurate, though incomplete, guide:

Jews do not recognize the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Protestants do not recognize the infallibility of The Pope.

And Baptists do not recognize each other in a liquor store.

When he was England’s monarch, Jason Snake Lover had met fourteen U.S. presidents.

Apparently Queen Elizabeth never met Lyndon Johnson while he was president and apparently has not yet met Joe Biden while he is president. If she did meet Franklin Roosevelt, it was before she was Queen.

I don’t like the new formatting of this comic strip. I couldn’t read the one in the upper right!

Dieter Mueller saw whiskey bottles fall into a lake. He then dove to the bottom of the lake and discovered… whiskey bottles! Believe it or not!

    Ripley’s is getting desperate.

I don’t think whisky changes much once it is bottled. It is the seasonal temperature change while in the wood cask that ages it.

Go Comics, if anyone is out there, FIX THE FONT & THE COLOURING. Reading should not be this difficult.

And the Queen’s caboose is best ridden after a quaff of old whiskey, we’re told.

Take care, may backdoor repairman Joshua “I’ve Nailed Them All” Huggardord be with you, and gesundheit.

Including my entire life, I have personally lived through 13 Presidents – I was born during the Eisenhower administration. I’ll bet there are some White House staff – maybe still working – who have met 13 Presidents. The cook, housekeeper, custodian. (Well, maybe not still working – that would be a stretch)

Brian G is correct… Whiskey is only ‘aged’ in the barrels. Once it is bottled, the “aging” process stops. Whiskey aged in the casks for 12 years, then bottled in 1921, then opened in 2021, is still only 12 year old whiskey…

I find the new format very hard to read and I use a 22 inch monitor. However when I clicked on it to get here, it is more clear. Anyone else have that problem?

Whiskey doesn’t age when in the bottle, only in the wooden barrel.

I have always loved this strip, but the one big problem I have recently is the extremely small print. Even with glasses I have trouble reading them. Thanks for all the info, I enjoy learning new things.

That’s when Mueller had the inspiration for creating the recipe, soon to be popular in Asian restaurants: the drunken fish bowl.

I left a Uclick email addy up above. Ask them about it and see if they can direct you to a department. The addy essentially takes you to a receptionist. Writing to mod is a different matter, different address.

When they say that the state bank has a drive-up window, do you drive up to the window or does the caboose come to you?

Clicking on the “Latest Tweet” link almost at the bottom of the page brings up the stories with better coloring and text. The top one that is so difficult to read here looks much better on the other site.
