Summer ends on the Sept 22nd? Due to Coronavirus, I want an extension. I demand a summer extension. They extended tax date, unemployment and other stuff. The government should extend summer till December 1st.

Okay, so it’s labor day. No more being white after labor day.

Astronomical summer begins with the vernal equinox and ends with the autumnal equinox, however meteorlogical summer is often defined as June 1 through August 31. I think for most people, Labor Day weekend tends to signal the end of what we think of as the summer season.

I’ve always pegged summer as being between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

All the solstices tell me is if the days are getting longer and shorter and if we are going to have more daylight or less.

For kids the freedoms of summer maybe over, and for parents the joy of getting rid of the kids you had to entertain all day every day just beginning, but the beautiful weather is upon us!!… not too hot, not too cold!
