    You can tell the ex-Catholics at the Episcopal Church. They are the ones singing Adeste Fideles at the Christmas service.

    I still think it sounds cooler in Latin.

    The Tridentine Mass is fine. But some of its adherents are horrible. And the idea that it’s the only proper Mass makes no sense at all.

    I like the Latin Mass. And it wasn’t too hard to figure out or follow it in Latin with a Latin/English missal. The music and Gregorian chant are wonderful. And many composers wrote Masses too.

    Thought about going to Mass when we were in Paris (couldn’t convince my wife, though), and that I’d probably do better in Latin than in French, having sung a number of Latin Masses in choirs, meanwhile growing up with a direct English translation.
