Yay! Pucky is saving us from the leaves again!

(I shudder to think what might happen, if he wasn’t there to save us each year!)

Alliterative titles are always a good start.

Puck’s battle with the leaves always reminds me of Meimei’s first autumn. When the leaves fell around her, she looked like she was seeing aliens landing!

That title’s not too long, I can hear the guy from the Weather Channel announcing it!

Well, Lupin, it’s Goldie and Puck’s story, so they get the final word. Maybe Burt will set up a chyron for you so you don’t have to repeat it. News channels do that sometimes.

Everyone depends on Puck too much. The others should learn how to deal with the leaves. Suppose one year he can’t manage it. Then they will be doomed.

Every year Puck does his little autumnal dance, I can’t help but hear Abba’s famous “Dancing Leaves” song in the background …

I miss leaves. Most trees here don’t turn and drop, unlike in my hometown of Milwaukee.

While Puck was bravely protecting us all from the leaves of autumn, our house panther Bagheera would be yelling at other cats to stay off his lawn. Bravely, of course. We salute you, brave house panthers!

Great title Goldie! Are the leaves turning in New England already?

Geez, the few trees that turn here on the FL suncoast ( FL red maple, sweet gum, cypress, crepe myrtle, weeping willow) do not start to turn until November and often the brown and red leaves are still on the trees around Christmas until winds on a real breezy day blows them all off.

Puck just can’t simply leaves them alone. Heh heh.

Maybe I can hire Puck to keep the leaves off my car? These apartments only have on-street parking and there are some HUGE trees that overhang the road. My car ends up covered!

Puck is on tiptoe in panel 3. We don’t see that very often.

Kinda sounds like one of those ‘titles’ to an episode from shows like Ricki Lake or Jerry Springer! …

But CN aims for a higher bar! … So says Lupin! … (And likely, Elvis!) … :)

Lupin, I counted the syllables. Most of your headlines – take “The woman is in a room we can’t get into” – are longer than “The why in the sky: When leaves fly”!

It could have been worse. She could have added “…and the spry guy in the green tie who tries to make leaves go bye-bye.”

I like it too, Puck. Nice job, Goldie. Our leaves down here in Virginia are still green, but I’m ready for fall—especially since my a/c broke yesterday. :( Like Elvis told summer last week, wrap it up, it’s time for fall. :)
