Is that playing the sound of a can opener?

I don’t think the cats name is Nipper either.

So, what’s the cat’s name? Kipper?

That’s a recorder. The cat is issuing commands.

If that were one of my qats, they’d be listening to birds, then wanting to hunt them.

the cat knows you’re talking to her – she just doesn’t care.

The cat hears the master’s voice … and wonders why the food dish is not ready.

“His servant’s voice.”

Maybe the cat is recordings his voice as the “master”?

My version of this has a sleeping cat with one ear tilted toward the speaker. “His mistress voice.”
