Another RMECU! [Robber Mouse Extreme Close Up], specifically, Alice.

There is a time for careful, methodical lockpicking, and this a time to employ sudden brute force; now, in this case… Break it, Alice!!!!

At least the lab tech hasn’t been licked to death yet. He looks like he wants to go out that window,too!

The looming lab tech (who I thought was female) makes me wonder if this arc will really wrap up tomorrow. I miss the cats!

Is the lab tech guy there because he’s going to do something, or just to remind the reader about the zombiebunny attack? Because he seems too occupied to do anything about the mice.

I can just hear the lab techs now …. The mice engineered the whole thing! They used a slingshot and a pill to push the red button, opening all the cages and freeing the zombunnies to create a diversion, and then a wild mouse opened the window with a screwdriver, and then all the test subjects escaped into the night! IT’S ALL TRUE!!! Oh, that straight jacket does look ever so comfy — thank you!

Alice is the kind of woman with skills and cunning you want to be on YOUR side.

Not just the lab tech has noticed them. So have all the zombunnies. I have a bad feeling about this.

If you are looking to keep hurting animals, I can tell you I won’t ignore this. What I have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let the animals go now, that’ll be the end of it.

I’m reminded of a cartoon where two of the characters (normal-sized mice) are trapped under a glass, and one of them produces a glass cutter taller than she is.

“Do you always carry a glass cutter with you?”

“Of course not. Only when I want to cut glass.”

My prediction is Alice will open the window just enough for mice to get through (which as we know, is only like a millimeter or two) and they will just barely escape with their tails intact before a horde of zombunnies pins the desperate scientist to the window while licking both continuously.

What is that bunny on top of the LT’s head doing?

UH OH! The scientist is coming!

I hope the bunnies escape too.

Lab Tech: I did not just see a mouse with a screwdriver remove a window. I think I’ll take a less stressful job like air traffic control!
