I know where lives take a wrong turn. I’ve been there, in that crossroads. You are doing OK, going through Independence Avenue towards Happiness Highway. It’s difficult at times and it gets really dark in the corner of Marriage Road. Turning there looks tempting, it’s wide and super bright, there’s everything you’ve ever needed and wanted, and everything looks brand new. But it’s a trap, it lasts for about a mile only. After that, it turns into a very narrow road. Not even a road, a poorly maintained dirt path. That’s when you realize that it’s only one way and a downward slope straight to hell. And don’t get fooled by Divorce Road, it may look like it’s turning up all the way to Independence Avenue but it’s another trap. It goes to the same place and it’s a very long and difficult toll road. Trust me. If you see the sign for Death Canyon, take a hard turn there and ditch! :D

That’s okay, Pig. You missed the bacon street and pork chops lane. Otherwise you’d has another sort of dead end by now.

Really creepy if it shows where it ends but at least he’ll know his final destination and hopefully it doesn’t have anything to do with Oscar Myer.
david_42 about 3 years ago
It’s not a dead end, it’s a cul-de-sac.
bittenbyknittin about 3 years ago
Actually, that sounds like a potentially enlightening exercise, might reveal some interesting patterns.

Going up, taking a right, followed by two lefts makes a question mark shape. That was intended, 100%.

and that dead end be in a Pastis toon. Stephan should be ashamed of shaming the critters who provide your sustenance.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
