Ms. Rose is getting antsy at being confined and she’s blaming it on Dick Tracy. Does she eat Chinese food for breakfast or is that just empty containers from the night before. I guess she’s still waiting for breakfast.
If she’s a Tracy villain, why does she look so… normal?
I was right: the Apparatus building has apartments for its members who need a hideout. She’s got a bed, a bathroom and a desk with a laptop. She has her food delivered or else cooked on the premises. She has everything but freedom.
When do the wheels of escape plots start turning ? No way can she stay here indefinitely. avenger’s shadows are very well placed. Her mad face in Ps. 1&3 are nicely and realistically done.
Nelson was right to distrust the numbers. Is Rose? Underlings so swift to steal reveal a lack of fear. Could they know something restricted Rose does not? She’s keeping her nails sharp, though not as sharp as Purdy Fallar (1968).
2-…Why do I always wanna start singing Christmas songs when I look inna mirror?
3-…Maybe these Dear John letters shouldn’t really all start with “Dear John”? Awh, what the hell – they’ll probably get the idea. Ten more and I’m FREE!
Rose; doesn’t that safe house have a kitchen? If you don’t like what they bring you for meals. Give a runner a grocery list, and, tell the runner to go to an Apparatus owned grocery store.Don’t forget the “personal” items. Might as well make the runner uncomfortable.
This week’s revelations are that, apparently, Rose is a hardened criminal on her own. Someone speculated earlier this week that Tracy thinks she might be the one who killed Elliot. After this week, that appears far less unlikely than before.
“I don’t trust the reports I’m getting, so how can I tell how my businesses are really doing”. Gee whiz, didn’t Briar Rose have a system in place to vet her employees? Don’t tell me….in her absence….somebody is cooking the books.
The Apparatus does not have a lot of amenities in their humble dwelling. But Wi Fi exists so Briar Rose can catch up on current events, send out and receive e-mails and play solitaire. Maybe a 32 inch flat screen tv is also in the room.
Briar is a really spunky crime boss and I’m finding that endearing. She’s also sharp enough to not swallow everything she’s being fed, there must be something fishy about those reports. Lots of takeout containers and cups, it seems the Apparatus doesn’t have an on-site kitchen. If I was running a massive criminal enterprise, I’d want my own kitchen on-site, stocked with only the best, with a great chef like Richard Bohringer… ;D
Just another day in the life of the Evil Princess, Briar Rose.
How many styrofoam hamburgers and fries have you been served, Milady?
(I still think she’s involved in prostitution, running a string of Tracyville’s seediest brothels. She doesn’t trust the individual house managers, with good reason.)
