Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the people… Turns out, they’ll believe that post-grad history theory is taught in grade school if you repeat it often enough. McAuliffe didn’t help himself, and the tangled dem negotiations with themselves really didn’t help him, but basically the voters think Biden should have solved the world’s problems by now so they’re ready to turn it back over to the people who caused them.
It’s as if this universe is ghosted by someone farther to the right than the original cartoonist. Or something.
I don’t suppose the four of you would care to scamper heedlessly around some improbably vertiginous landscapes with your palms out and heads canted back for no good reason. Just for a while?
