Heisenberg’s topic for the lecture will be, “Is Schrödinger’s cat alive or dead?” Or maybe it won’t be. One can never be sure whether Heisenberg shows up for his lecture or not.
For those who don’t have a clue what this is about: ’Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle is a very precise mathematical statement about the nature of a quantum system.
Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle imposes a restriction on the accuracy of simultaneous measurement of position and momentum. The more precise our measurement of position is, the less accurate will be our momentum measurement and vice-versa. The physical origin of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle is with the quantum system’
Heisenberg and Schrodinger were speeding along in Heisenberg’s car. A state trooper stopped them and asked if Heisenberg knew how fast he was going. “No” was the reply, “But I know where we are.” When told he had been driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone, he threw up his arms and responded “Great! Now we’re lost!” Being suspicious, the trooper asked to if he could look in the trunk. He came back to the driver’s side and asked “Did you know you have a dead cat in your trunk?” Schrodinger replied “Well, he is now!”

Best kind of lecture. Practical demonstration.

Zelda: There’s a meeting on Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. It’s either at 8 or 10.

Simple solution: Frank asks for the location; Ernest asks for the time.

Sorta liked this one. GoComics makes it hard to save a copy but it can be done. Here is a link to the image.

Simple solution: Frank buys one and get the time, Ernie gets the place when he buys one.
