Moderately Confused by Jeff Stahler for November 16, 2021

    Agree completely and not just for the unwanted attention from masses of strangers but from his detachment from his immediate surroundings.

    We don’t allow them at our dinner table and request they be put aside when we have a family event. Also don’t care to see special pics on a 5" screen that first must be dredged up from a file of hundreds.

    When I was a preteen/teen my views about myself and others were shaped by family, classmates, tv/movies, and magazines. Now we have the internet thrown in there. The big difference is that you now get immediate feedback from people you’ve never met or normally don’t associate with. I guess that is the hard part for kids these days. It’s one thing to hear someone’s talking about you in the locker room, but quite another to know the rumor will follow you around the world.
