Kid’s got a point. Multiple studies have shown that amount of homework doesn’t equate to achievement, definitely at the elementary school level and probably at middle school as well. Lots of elementary schools are going to “no homework” or “minimal homework” policies.
As a former teacher, I can tell you that my day didn’t end at 4:00 P.M. I would go home, eat, relax a little, and then grade papers, revise lesson plans, and call parents whom I couldn’t call during the day. Many weekends were pretty much the same. The first time I got a job where I could go home and not have to continue working, was a revelation.

Control propaganda at work with the mask, now in your favorite comic. The world is going back to 1940 Germany

Homework does nothing to enhance learning. It’s just institutionalized torture for children.

Blanton’s timing is about right – 2017 to 2019 in the U.S. was about like Germany in the 1930s.

Michael changes his mind and his arguments in response to new information. That makes him smarter than most politicians and Trump supporters.

You would think wearing the same shirt as the teacher would get you somewhere.

When I was selling furniture, a couple from church, both teachers, bought a table so that both they and their two sons to do homework on.
