If I were writing this, Angora would have just passed Kit something. Not sure what yet – I’m torn between “most practical option” and “most out-there soap opera weirdness thing”.
So today’s my birthday and the only wish I would like granted is that Lupin make a full recovery and live as long as catly possible. ❤ I can’t believe I’m 40. Don’t the years go by in a blink?
Angora toe beans! Kit toe beans! He looks like a member of the robber mice gang. After they watch this, I can imagine Natasha stitching up some striped hats for the girls to wear.
My birthday was the 11th and was also the day I found my sweet Katie had kidney failure. I had to see her cross the rainbow bridge on the 12th. Terrible birthday!
Wow, I am having some flashbacks to circa 1986 Days of Our Lives with Patch and Kayla! I know in the end Kit will be vindicated and those who framed him (it has to be that guy, Brad or the diabolical Dr Mittens) will be held accountable and the suspense is killing me but in the meantime he has the love and support of Angora to help him endure this horrible ordeal.
Toe Beans on Glass!! Toe Beans on Glass!! Double dose of TBoG! And they are Our IX Lives TBoG!! And then BoCH! And it’s ONLBoCH, which is so rare, I’ve — (thud) …(that was the sound of me fainting dead away, less gracefully than does Angora)
New Lupin photo on FB. Must be very annoying to a cat to have shaved patches of hair after surgery….leg showing today and I thought I saw a patch on his right side in an earlier pic.
Smuggling catnip? What’s he a crook crook crook crook crook international crook? Er… I means it’s a really catchy song in indian movie. See international crook title song for yourself, you’ll see what I means. Doesn’t means I is interested in this bLatherous soapy opurrra or something. No siree. Not at alls.
Kit is now “on the inside” helping the authorities. They needed someone tough looking, that could be trusted to rub paws with the unsavoury members of society. He will get the evidence needed to prosecute the true criminal element.
On an aside, have we heard of the telepathic kittens before? Have they made an appearance in the story before this? Will we get a full back story, or a spin-off series?
Tune in tomorrow, when Kit will be attacked in his cell by some ruffians. Luckily, he will be sent to Country General, where young Dr. Young will see him.
Young Dr. Young will need to consult with his father, Old Dr. Young, as some of the injuries look to be different from the others.
Old Dr. Young will immediately recognize those injuries as coming from Brass Paw Punchers….and Guard’s Batons. He will know the Fix is in, that this attack was by both Prisoners and Guards to hush poor Kit.
Can he get the information to Young Dr. Young, and to Courageous Captain Courage before more harm can come to Kit?
Did Sammy the Squeal overhear this from the nurse, and will he be sending more goons to the hospital to finish Kit, and the good Doctors?
Tune in Tomorrow, same time, same station…Angora will be standing by.
Hey, I have worked in corrections. You can’t touch each other. (Heck now you can only see them on a video monitor and your conversations are recorded for prosperity.)
I just looked at yesterday’s panels again. Some questions/comments that I wanted to be seen, so am putting them here.
1. He said tele*kinetic* not telepathic. Big difference. Telekinetic, able to move objects with your mind. Telepathic, able to read others thoughts.
2. His answer to Angora’s question of “Why is Kit in Jail” is very non sequitor. How does putting Kit in jail solve the problem of who is the father of the telekinetic kittens?
So perhaps it is a correct assumption that he is a plant. Okay, not literally a plant (a leafy green thing), but a person who is placed somewhere to find out information that has been heretofore impossible to obtain otherwise.
I’m lucky I’m not in jail with Kit. My mom asked me to grow some catnip for tea. About the time it was a foot high, the local cats found it, and I had a kitty drug den in the back yard for several days until they squished it flat and killed it. All those cats lolling around in my yard, saying “Dude,” and looking for Fritoes was funny. There’s nothing less dignified than a stoned cat.
If y’all haven’t seen the poem, Google “The Taker In of Stray Cats”. I’ve had a copy of it on the wall of my “home office” (aka junk room) for many years. I think it describes many of us. It was written by Darlene Goff, in memory of her cat, Tinkerbelle.
Just occurred to me that with his eyepatch and the little hat (which covers/blocks his ear) on the same side, Kit’s at a real disadvantage against anything that comes at him from his right!
Thanks to all who had comforting words about my sweet Katie, even if I’m now crying yet again. And I send my condolences to those who recalled their own loses or have an ill kitty right now themselves. I’ve been looking on Petfinder for a new playmate to love. There are so many out there who need a home; I wish I could take in a dozen!

False drug charges? How pedestrian! Is that the best that Snowball/That Guy Brad could come up with? It’s a good thing I’m not watching.

Loyal, lovely Angora…..rushing to support Kit as he languishes in jail. I’m wondering how Kit is going to clear his name.

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Elvis-Anum: It’s sure been quiet around here. No one has come running through since forever.
Beatrixia: I know. Ever since Lupinium went to Salubrious Spa to take the waters.
Elvis: Take them where?
Puckmosis: I think she means Lupinium is there to improve his health.
Elvis: I knew that.
White streak runs through the library
Thwump!!
Elvis: Poof!
Lupinium: Hi, everyone! Did you miss me?
Elvis: (More than you’ll ever know).
