I should be good on the porch. It’s 3 steps up from the yard. My neighbor is the lucky one though. He lives in a trailer and can just add more blocks as needed.

Living on the Gulf all these years, staying on a couch will not keep you out of the water.

So if "everyone’ knows the seas are rising and all that, why are we spending money protecting New Orleans. Maybe the money would be better spent moving it. Just a suggestion. I have no meat on that barbeque.

If you had known that couches float, you could have saved all that money spent on a boat.

Our state currently has 14 Counties declared a disaster from flooding from heavy rains we’ve had over the past week. They’ve evacuated an entire town and part of another nearby town. You’ll need a much higher sofa to avoid flooding like say 30 feet higher

Why did Obama buy a mansion On Martha’s Vineyard so close to the Ocean? He obvious does not believe the scare stories.

My apartment is currently about 8 stories above sea level. If the water rises into the back yard, I might try fishing from my balcony.

More seriously, I’m not sure what I’d do if boatloads of refugees began arriving.

And if they rise high enough, Eno may end up having beach front property in Denver !

Of course, at high tide, it will be every man for himself. The water is not just going to sit there at one level. You might be slogging in mud on a good day and discover your “inner swimmer” during a storm surge.

If that doesn’t concern you, just think about what it’s gonna do to you bar time.

Is the ocean going to rise, or are the plates moving under others just changing the level of different land masses?
