Good luck getting Luddy into the cat carrier – he equates that thing to shots at the vets

In case anyone wondered. An old myth goes that at midnight on Christmas Eve animals are given the gift of speech in honor of their presence in the stable at the birth of Christ. An ox and donkey, sheep and lambs have been depicted in the manger scene since the fourth century, at least.

Pets are wonderful but let’s put humans first. Maybe donate to a right to life organization or battered women’s shelter.

Mine does in on Christmas Eve afternoon. The church is ALWAYS packed with people who love their pets. Like of tough to bless a parrot that won’t shut up tho. lol

wish they did that here. my min pin crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 4 months ago and i adopted a dachshnd on Dec 16th. that service wold make my holidays happier and brighter!

Hi all I am wishing all of you a wonderful Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year. I made it to my birthday today and 67 years old and we made up our birthday pizza yesterday for dinner tonight and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day….mmm looks good. Hoping I can eat it, wish me luck. Still in a lot of pain, stomach and back but doing a bit better. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve, and Day and the New Year is a good one for you. Most churches here were remote only for Christmas. Husband watched mass on TV on the Diocese channel and I watched with him, same as I go to church with him for Christmas and Easter. (I am Jewish.)
