Well, up until 2021 those “Lands Sake” fine clothing had a Lifetime guarantee…. and you could return a coat if the zipper broke or return the rugby shirt if a button broke. But I do understand why they did away with guarantee.
Similar to what my father said when I bought my first new car. “That costs more than I paid for our house!” House in 1955 $12,500. New Buick in 1983 $13,000.
This is not funny, unfortunately — it’s disappointingly realistic. A job pushing shopping carts at a local supermarket today has a higher hourly wage than I got 30 years ago at a computer programming job!

If you buy it in Bleeb’s size it won’t cost any more than a Yugo.

When I tell my grandkids that my first house cost me $20,000 they are in disbelief. That is how I teach them about INFLATION. (scary music playing)

Bleeb looks like his hand is behind his head and he’s kicking up his heels. What dance is he doing?

When your home purchase costs more than your first new car then you can finally say “I’ve made it in America” as Movin’ On Up plays in the background.
