Wow! This 30 year old comic was incredibly prescient and predicted the future. That is exactly the situation now. Nobody takes responsibility for their own actions anymore. It is always somebody else’s fault. (Disregard the last panel. It’s the old fashioned antiquated method of parenting. That doesn’t happen today.)

Wonder if Calvin ran into Wiley’s Danae at school? There was an overlap of several years. This sounds like it could have been taken straight from Danae’s diary.

Calvin if you can analyse it you can’t get away with it, because obviously you know what you’re doing is not good.

I have it on good authority that Hunter & Joe once had a conversation that started like this but Joe’s response was entirely different.

Back when I lived in snow country I had a very nice snow blower, and I sure as heck wasn’t going to let a 6 year old play with my toy. But come to think about it, I didn’t get it until the kids had moved out.

If the kid can use $20 words, he’s old enough to shovel the walk.
