i would have thought a truck for them would be one of the large dino’s on 4 wheels, unless the tyranosaur rex was on 2 wheels

Actually, “truck” IS steel for an axle and two wheels.

Truck of this config usually refers to train wheels and axles. But, as they haven’t shown a train as yet, he might just be going suburban where people have SUV’s that never leave the paved road and pickups that carry only groceries and occasional trash.

I think that this might be using the definition of “truck” from the railroads. Pretty close to what you see here.
