Falling Needles Family Fest Day. Falling Needles Family Fest Day on December 30th serves as a reminder to clean up and recycle the live Christmas tree.

Christmas merchandise at Walmart goes to 75% off today (Dec 30) and we got more Christmas freight on last night’s truck. No trees or lights (thank goodness!), but we got ornaments and other decorations. I will not be at all surprised if we’re still getting Christmas stuff in January.

Nice scrabble word. WE HAD SNOW YESTERDAY!!! Light 40 miles north in Bishop while I was running errands, but it really came down on the drive home. Big fluffy flakes for hours, then it stopped in time to walk the dogs – Craig’s little Jack Russel doesn’t like it. And the silly cats came our of the warm house to complain about it. Only a few inches but such a beautiful treat for us.

I only get to play Scrabble with another person when I see my sister. She’s been here since we all came back from our trip early and we’ve played SO many games! She’s going to be surprised when I use SWONK later today.

We all know Chesney is one or two steps from a “trouble cyclone” in general and if Lily swonk’s him it’s for his own good which usually never deters him anyway.
