It is not often you see a “comic” that touches a nerve, but this one does. The only ones who benefit from war are those who make the weapons. War is the biggest business in the USA.
I joined the Navy when the Vietnam War was ending. The attitude towards service members and veterans was generally negative then. So glad to see them getting some respect now.
Memorial Day is – or should be – a solemn day of remembrance of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. It should not be just another excuse for profiteering.
