Instead of leaving any money to his children, Trump will probably put it in trust to attack those who say bad things about him, especially if they are true.

(just getting this out of the way)

GBT is under no obligation to be “fair and balanced.” He’s under no obligation to draw strips about Biden if he’d rather keep drawing strips about Trump instead.

If you want strips about Biden, any number of other webcomic artists are offering such strips at this very moment. Consider reading one of those instead. Thank you.

He probably doesn’t really believe that the world will continue to exist without him, so he’d consider planning a funeral to be a waste of time. No one would be there because there would be no one, period.

Huh, I don’t pay much attention to the petty school yard talk these days, but just I noticed that at least his followers here don’t seem to realize the meaning of “TDS” hasn’t been used in the original sense for awhile now. Most of the rest of us now use it to describe his folks who will carry out treason, insurrection, and sedition for him and their supporters, the folks who call it “legitimate political discourse” and then say they “love America.” Now, if that’s not “deranged” thinking, we need to just scrap the word entirely, chuckle.

Ya know, maybe if we all just pretend he’s dead. We talk about him in the past tense. No one looks at him, or talks to him. Don’t answer his calls. Melania can have a big garage sale, sell all his crap. The kids can quit waiting and divide up his estate. We just quit acknowledging his existance, pretty soon he’ll just go away.

Well, there’s a thought. Maybe the President and other folks who need a big turnout for whatever they want a turnout for should have it catered and hand out t-shirts. Lots of people show up for hotdogs and t-shirts and never even see the band. …just saying. “Butts in seats.” is a thing.

Only partially on-topic but I’ll admit that I find it odd that, apparently, Trump was the only president within living memory who never received death threats. He can’t have. Because we know that if he’d received death threats, he’d never have kept quiet about it. He’d have publicized the threat-senders’ names 24/7 and some of his followers would’ve murdered said senders within 24 hours. And we’d still be hearing about them.

Then again, Ann Coulter has insulted Trump on multiple occasions, declaring that thanks to him there wouldn’t be another Republican president until 4820 (well after we ain’t gonna need our teeth and won’t need our eyes yet well before our arms will be hangin’ limp at our sides), yet she’s somehow avoided being raped to death by Trump followers and I don’t really have a point on this one, sorry about that. :-|

^^ when did the Republican Party start believing that members of the Democratic Party hate America? Or is it only the members of the new iteration of the GOP, The Party Of Trump?

I am quite shocked at how far the Republican Party has fallen. From 1973 when even the most ardent Nixon defenders in Congress were ready to vote to not only impeach but convict him, to 2022 when the current GQP censures the 2 real Republicans on the Jan 6 House investigation after the GQP House Minority Leader McCarthy-R-CA-attempted to include Trump cult members on the 1/6 Committee. That members of the Republican Party would go so far as to actually defend Putin, just as Trump stated his belief in Putin over the 17 US intelligence Agencies. And these same Cult Trump members(like barjean58 and Coyote)have the gall(and massive hypocrisy) to accuse the other main political party(Democratic) in the US of hating America. When did a difference of opinion become treason in the minds of the current GQP? When did the GQP start ignoring the long held unwritten Congressional rule of not openly criticizing the foreign policy of the US when the other Party was in the WH? When did GQP members of Congress become so rude and lacking in manners as to jump up during a SOTU speech and scream that Obama was lying? When did the GQP throw away all of their principles and go so far as to officially proclaim the Jan 6 insurrection was a peaceful political demonstration? Even better, Why did the GQP remain totally silent(while 147 GQP members of Congress joined in the attempted coup) when Trump attempted a coup after he lost the 2020 election? Why are the GQP leaders still blatantly lying about what happened on Jan 6?(Don’t believe your eyes, instead believe our outright lies)

I am a retired hospice chaplain and have known all along that Trump is terrified of death. T’s whole life is running away from death. He thinks , to the extent he thinks, that if he accrues enough wealth and power he will be the one person to live on forever. It’s madness but so is his denial. His denial has led to him capturing the minds of millions who share his fear.

On the day he drops dead, the only thing I hope to hear in response to his death is: “We’ll never see another one like him.”

But my biggest fear is the crackpot notions that will immediately begin floating around:

“He’s not dead. He’s hiding out in [name a place] until he’s ready to make his comeback.”

“He didn’t die of natural causes. He was really murdered by [fake news] [Melania] [name of any Democrat] [name of anyone who ever said a word against him].”

“He’s still the President, because of course he really won the 2020 election.”

“At least he’s in Heaven now, with God.”

“How sad! We’ve lost a great man.”

Not only was this comic strip disrespectful and hateful, the hundred plus readers’ comments in agreement on this web site are equally distasteful. One hundred years from now, presuming our country still exists, Trump will be considered one our greatest presidents as well as one of the modern world’s greatest leaders.

Those who delight in the future death of another person have no shame. I am sure that when President Trump passes there will be millions who will mourn his passing and there will also be “mostly peaceful” protests too.

It seems nearly all of the commenters here agree with Mr. Trudeau’s Doonesbury cartoon;that the world should rejoice when Trump dies. It goes to show the left are the true haters, but have the audacity to call Trump and his supporters the haters.

President Trump will have the last laugh as I am positive that 100 years from now he will be considered one of our greatest presidents and one of the world’s greatest leaders.

As to how our current president will be remembered, I believe his legacy be on par with his son Hunter Biden; to wit a disgrace.
