“No more teachers,”

“No more books!”

“But here comes Nancy’s dirty looks!”

There’s always homework! Get used to it!

I had first period P.E. In the Fall and Spring, we were outdoors. Some days, we played in dense fog.

I wouldn’t have minded getting it out of the way first thing. Then enjoy the rest of my day!

I wasn’t smart enough to have a “system” to remember where everything was. I had to keep my room straightened up just to find what I wanted.

Funny, my mom called it housework, or do it if you want to go outside. In those days we wanted to go outside. Now it’s clean your room if you want to stay indoors, otherwise you are going outside to play.
