Why is there not a resort or hotel alternative for Marcus and his girlfriend? That would be my preference. Fly out, see the sights, drop by the family event, stay a little while, then enjoy a family-free romantic meal elsewhere.

Just because she is a control freak, doesn’t mean she was wrong.

Marcy is right to insist on the most family-friendly atmosphere possible if her kids are included; people shacking up around kids are not family-friendly examples.
